Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance native Android applications using Kotlin and Java
- Build native iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C following Apple Human Interface Guidelines
- Develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native or Flutter for unified Android and iOS delivery
- Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and third-party SDKs into mobile applications
- Implement push notifications, deep linking, in-app purchases, and platform-specific device features
- Write automated unit and UI tests to ensure application stability and quality
- Optimise application performance, memory usage, battery consumption, and app size
- Publish, manage, and maintain apps on Google Play Store and Apple App Store
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into polished mobile interfaces
- Conduct code reviews, identify technical debt, and maintain clean, scalable mobile codebases
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional mobile application development experience on Android or iOS
- Proficiency in Kotlin for Android development and/or Swift for iOS development
- Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as React Native or Flutter is a strong advantage
- Solid understanding of mobile app architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture
- Hands-on experience integrating REST APIs and handling JSON data in mobile apps
- Knowledge of mobile app lifecycle, background processing, and platform-specific APIs
- Experience with Firebase services including Authentication, Firestore, Crashlytics, and Push Notifications
- Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines for mobile app delivery
Preferred Qualifications
- Published apps on Google Play Store or Apple App Store with measurable user base
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Provider, or Bloc
- Knowledge of offline-first architecture and local database solutions like SQLite or Room
- Familiarity with App Store Optimisation (ASO) and analytics tools like Firebase Analytics or Mixpanel
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
