Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive frontend interfaces using React.js or Vue.js
- Build and maintain backend APIs and services using Node.js, Express, or Django
- Design and manage relational and non-relational databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and cloud services into web applications
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-accurate interfaces
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across both frontend and backend layers
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in full stack web development
- Proficiency in JavaScript and at least one modern frontend framework such as React.js or Vue.js
- Strong backend development skills using Node.js, Express.js, or Python Django
- Experience with both SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration
- Working knowledge of Git version control and collaborative development workflows
- Understanding of web security principles, authentication, and authorisation patterns
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TypeScript for both frontend and backend development
- Knowledge of containerisation using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools
- Experience with Next.js or Nuxt.js for server-side rendering applications
- Cloud platform certifications on AWS, GCP, or Azure are a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
